  My transmission was slipping for about three months so I was referred by my friends at Village Autoworks, who are the best and most honest mechanics i've ever worked with. Long story short, i took my Toyota 4 runner in KNOWING that i was going to need a new transmission (about 3K). The fellas at Built to last found that i was missing SEVERAL QUARTS of fluid but could not find a leak. They even kept it a few days to make sure... SO, the conclusion was that some moe-ron that works at the Just Tires at Crabtree (AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS) had accidentally let out the transmission fluid, realized his mistake but didn't bother to admit his mistake by filling it back up (both drain plugs are close to one another). SO, in short, they could have taken me to the cleaners but only ended up charging me for minimal labor and a few quarts of fluid. THANK GOD for honest mechanics! In addition, they just fixed my Subaru quickly and reasonably. BY FAR the best transmission shop in Raleigh!!!

  Very friendly and helpful guys. They took care of my vehicle and even though it cost much it was worth it. God bless them. This is there specialty and they're great at it.
