  The apartment was supposed to have been completely renovated. The kitchen and bathrooms were not renovated at all. The kitchen counter is made of particle board and was flaking off. The tile grout is so stained it can't be cleaned.
  One of the perks was we are right on Lake Lynn which we could use a kayak on. I had my kayak on my patio for ten months without difficulties. All of a sudden, it was not allowed and I had to move it. They wouldn't allow it on the ground in front of the patio or at the side of the building where it was in no ones way.I was told to put it in my outside storage unit or inside the apartment. It's 13 feet long and doesn't fit in the storage area so it is now in the living room. When we moved in, that was a selling point so I could us my kayak. Unfortunately you can't keep it anywhere.
  My son was accepted to medical school so we would have to move. I gave 5 weeks notice. Unfortunately, they said we had to give 60 days so would have to pay for another month of rent. The extra month is over 300 dollars more than my monthly rent. The office had no sympathy over the notice. We gave as much notice as my son had gotten from the medical school. I have never lived in a place that required 60 days mandatory notice. My lease was ending so I thought 5 weeks was generous.
  This complex allows dogs, which was nice for me, but many of the residents don't clean up after their dogs. You have to watch where you walk everywhere. The complex provides bags to clean up after the dog. People just don't use them.
