  I made an appointment on my chart to see doctor about yearly physical , tetanus booster , and back/knee problems. when he came in asked my why I was there, I told him the issues above. he asked which was most important and I told him my back. after spending 2 minutes checking my reflexes , he said I needed an MRI. he was walking out and I asked him if we were going to knock out the other reasons I scheduled the appointment. he said word for word " I don't have time". he closed the door then poked his head back in and said" we can do the booster shot". when the doctors assistant came in to do the booster and give me the paperwork for the visit , she said" looks like he wants you to get an MRI. the doctor told me that likely the insurance wouldn't cover it being recommended by him , and that I should see the orthopedic first. this confused me. so when I asked her what I should do , she basically said " i don't know. I don't know what y'all discussed". after giving what I took as attitude , she went to find the doctor but came back herself and said " he said to get the MRI or wait for the orthopedic to call , whatever comes first." this also confused me because I didn't understand why I would wait for the orthopedic to call if I could immediately go get an MRI. I asked her where to go because it wasn't on my paperwork. instead of giving me an address , she verbally gave me directions asking me if I knew where Bahama breeze was on wake forest road , because where I needed to go was across the street from it. she also advised me that I could just "show up" to get my MRI. I left the doctors office and showed up at the place to get an MRI. they told me I couldn't show up that I had to call a number to make an appointment , and that I shouldn't have been told I could just "show up". needless to say , I was very disappointed and will never be going back to this doctors office. I rate this doctor and assistant a 1 because he at least said hi and asked how I've been.
