  Horrible service. First, they made everyone in our party purchase a membership. After your first visit, however, you can bring a guest in with your membership. I should be able to immediately bring in a guest as we had someone in our party from out of town who certainly didn't need a "membership". Waited ages to be served at the bar while watching others repeatedly get served before us. It looks very cute inside, but definitely not worth a $12 cocktail and $2 membership fee. Wound up leaving without drinks despite paying the membership because of this rude service!
  
  Responding to the owner: Yes, I know NC state law. You CAN allow us to bring in a guest with our membership and not make us arbitrarily wait until the next visit.
