  Walked into the Raleigh NC Glen Wood Ave La-Z-Boy Furniture store to look at an end table. Asked the salesperson if they were going out of business (clearance sale signs). She said “No, we want to clear out the inventory to make renovations to the inside of the store. Found a table and at checkout we were told delivery would be in two weeks. I said we can just take the one we found in the showroom. She said they don’t sale the items in the showroom. It will ship from our warehouse in Maryland. Taxes and shipping added $100. They make no sense. We walked out.
