  My wife and I love this place. We first tried it one night when Gravy, another Italian restaurant in Raleigh, gave away our table to someone else. As soon as we walked into Piccola, we were welcomed as family. We now go here all the time. The food is awesome and the place has a very cozy, neighborhood feel to it.

  Absolutely awesome!
  The meatballs are homemade.
  My son wanted chicken instead of shrimp scampi. No problem!
  Tiramisu is homemade too!
  Not sure but I think mozzarella in caprese is also homemade.
  Stromboli is huge, even for the small size.
  Wait staff pleasant and accommodating.
  The owner was worried about our comfort because of a table but we were fine. Nice for him to be concerned.
