  First, keep in mind you might get a midwife instead of a gynecologist, even if you've never been pregnant and never will be pregnant. Fine. Whatever.
  
  Upon her recommendation, due to intense bladder pain, I went to a radiologist for an ultrasound (which was fine), and a month later, a followup ultrasound. The second time I was there, I had a mammogram, which was due. This was two weeks ago. The mammogram results were sent to me by the radiologist two days later.
  
  So I called the gynecologist's office last week asking about the second ultrasound results and was told, "The results are on her desk." That was on Wednesday.
  
  Today is MONDAY, and I have been in pain for 3 days. I called to see about the ultrasound results, and I'm told again, "The results are on her desk."
  
  I said I was in PAIN and needed to know the results. They said they would tell her.
  
  Because I am in pain, I called my regular doctor, and I also called Newman's office to send over the ultrasound results to my regular doctor. They say fine.
  
  Several hours later, I took a pain killer (which I don't like to take) and went out to eat. Upon returning, at 6:15 pm, I have a voice message from Newman's office that says, "We have your results. We have information to tell you. We open at 8:30 am."
  
  WHAT? I've been waiting ALL THIS TIME, and they can't leave me a CLUE as to what the "information" is? So I have to spend ALL NIGHT worrying that I have CANCER?
  
  What is "INFORMATION TO TELL ME"? No one should be able to do THAT to another human being. They could have called me and left a voice message with what was wrong or they could have SIMPLY waited for the next day to call me. To leave a message like that is HORRIFIC.
  
  And to make someone wait TWO WEEKS (and probably more, if I hadn't bugged them TWICE) for RESULTS for an ultrasound, is ridiculous.
  
  Surely there are better doctors available.
