  Real reviewer...I read reviews before I look for an apartment and I like to have real reviews. Not just reviews always talking about the good things because more than likely they are written by the staff.The staff is amazing..Hands down the best rental crew I have ever worked with. I do like the apartment the layout and convenience is great. It's easy to get to I-440 and right on the greenway which is great for walking and biking. The amenities are great however with the amount of tenants the pool area can get a little crowded during prime season. Depending on the location of your apartment it may or may not be convenient to the available garages, mailboxes, and trash. I hate having to ride with trash in my trunk until I get to dumpsters. Construction was a bummer but most of that is completed now and the only downfall is the construction of the retirement center being built in the front of the apartments. They take over the road most of the time and still make a lot of noise. Which brings me to the apartment itself. I can only tell you about the hotel style building since thats what I live in. As expected it's near the highway so you can hear the highway noise most notably when its quiet in your apartment and usually only big rigs can you hear no matter what time of day it is. Can be ignoring at night for some but for me I put on nature sounds to override the noise and I fall right to sleep. However, if you stay on the side where the parking lot is located then you hear everyone who talks outside your window no matter what floor you live on. Which can get annoying along with being able to hear your neighbors when they are on the balcony. There are a few college kids that stay here as you can imagine its close to NCSU. I even hear the ones who stay across the street when they have parties or friends over. Not that I'm listening out for them but you can hear them through the window over the tv. All the fixtures in the apartment are nice however, when you are sitting comfortable in your apartment it sucks to hear a neighbors door slam surprisingly. The apartments are open concept and it sucks to have a neighbor who slams the microwave door all the time and the cabinets should have been made soft closing cause as you can imagine my neighbor slams those too. This can work your nerves especially when its happens in the middle of you watching tv. The other problem is the slamming doors..I won't blame this all on my neighbor. The doors slam real easily if you don't catch them, they are loud and shake you and your neighbors apartment. Sometimes I hear the doors slam at least 4 to 5 times at night and you never get used to it. It shocks you every time which I know is bad for your nerves. Also sometimes when Im in the bathroom I can hear my neighbors talking which makes my conscious can they hear me using the bathroom too? They make you sign a noise agreement when you sign your lease so you can't really complain about the noise cause you agreed that you may hear loud tvs, talking, and noises. So I just deal with it until my lease is up, The apartments are nice but for the amount of money I'd rather rent a house or an older apartment with thicker walls, windows, and less noise.
