    I've heard a lot of good things about this restaurant for a long time! A friend of mine goes there regularly for breakfast. My husband and I went (me for the first time) recently. He had only been there once before and said the ham biscuit, though $5.00, was huge and delicious! He got another one and said that one was just as good.

    The employees we came in contact with were really nice. Plus, the plates they were handing out at the counter, were loaded up with food. I was impressed because a lot of places are afraid to give you something! LOL We got ours to go. I got a large green beans and was told they WERE seasoned. I like seasoned. I like Southern food, so the more seasoned, the better.

    Unfortunately, they do not give the same amount of food in to go orders, that they do in the restaurant. My "large" green beans, were filled 3/4 full. They were super hot, which is good, but I was really disappointed when I tried them at home, a few minutes later. Absolutely zero seasoning. And when I say zero, I mean zero! No salt, no pepper, no nothing! They were cooked just fine, but 100% bland.

    OTHER than the fact that they DO NOT GIVE FULL PORTIONS with to go orders and the green beans are NOT SEASONED, I would still recommend this restaurant. Clearly, they do good business and their food looked delicious!

    I took off two stars: One for the serving size of the green beans and one for the zero taste of the green beans.
