  The response from management to this review is a load of bs. They have no solutions, offer no help at all, and would be more than happy for me to go so they can collect on my lease and rent to someone else.
  
  I complained about my downstairs neighbor smoking. It's coming through the vents in my kitchen and bathroom causing my apartment to smell like cigarettes.
  
  Office manager claims this is typical for apartment complexes and that I won't find anything better.
  They don't have any 1br units for me to move into to get away from the smell, and they won't break my lease. Their solution was to buy me an air purifier, which is nice until you consider the power cost to run one of those 24/7
  
  Not saying you're guaranteed to have a bad experience living here, just that you roll the dice with what unit you're given.
  
  edit: The property manager copy-pastes a similar response to every review. I'm at the end of the line with them. They have no solutions to offer other than forking over $1750 to break the lease or to deal with the smoke in my apartment.
  I was copied on an email between two of the Grubb Properties employees which outlines how they really feel about the situation.

  Do we want to let him out of his lease without fees? I don't feel like this warrants letting him out without the regular process of breaking this lease. This is typical apartment living. He is going to find this everywhere.

  I like a lot about living here. Great job at remodeling the inside of the building. Will be nice when the elevators all work well though and I have to add the exterior look of the building looks old with the brick and window units. I love how nice everyone is that I encounter, be it the staff or fellow residents. Beautiful kitchen in my apartment but not crazy about my "retro" (blue for my unit) bathroom. Gym is nice, cheap laundry on each floor, barely ever hear my neighbors, parking is not bad, rent is very reasonable, and maintenance is friendly and quick. Overall I would recommend this apartment and I'm glad I choose to live here!
