  We just moved out of The Greens into our own house; I am so glad we picked this location for our first year in Raleigh! The staff is caring and very responsive to maintenance requests, of which there were fortunately few, and if you don't mind being a little isolated from town it's a great value compared to downtown and Cameron Village locations. (And you get amazing greenway access in return.)
  
  I'd recommend an exterior-facing apartment if they are available. Cell service is pretty flaky in the building's exterior, and the apartment's mailing list would occasionally get (politely-worded) noise reminders from the staff - I assume the noise was in the courtyard, because we never knew what was going on.
