  I came in for my first root canal. It took two visits for the procedure to be done. It was a horrible experience. The dam evidently was not placed correctly in my mouth causing the anti bacterial material used in the canals to get in the side of my mouth and down my throat. Although I repeatedly stopped him due to the problem, he just said evidently it was leaking out of the temporary crown. If that were true, I would think he could have repositioned the dam to catch the fluid. The entire side of my mouth and side of my throat was burned due to the liquid leaving me in pain for 2 weeks. Their solution was" rinse it with warm salt water". I have talked to others that have had root canals and none experienced these problems.

  The main reason I chose Raleigh Endodontics was because of all the great reviews that I saw online. I must say they are all true! The entire staff from reception, dental assistant, as well as the doctor himself were all very professional and courteous. The office and staff made this a very comfortable and painless procedure. I would highly recommend Dr. Dalzell.
