  Bought a home from St Lawrence 15 years ago in a subdivision called Somerset in Waxhaw, NC. They proudly claimed they glued and screwed all floors to eliminate squeaks. That was not done in my home. We have had squeaks for 15 years. We recently had the carpet changed and there was not one screw anywhere to be found except where they desperately shot screws through the carpet during the warranty period to cut down on the squeaks we complained about. Thats 3,000 sf of nails instead of screws. We had to pull all the carpet up ourselves in order to get to the floor so that we could runs screws prior to the carpet installers coming. Our bedroom had really bad squeaking that no amount of screws would help because it was exasperated by the deflecting floor joists. We had to pull the floor up and double the amount of joists because of they poor engineering. They were so careless in so many ways with this house its impossible to list here. Walls that are totally crooked. Our lower floor bounces when we walk through the living room do to lack of support. Same problem as with the bedroom directly above. One the warranty period was over they could care less and until you begin pulling carpet up years later you have no idea. I would never buy a home from them again
